Health Without Gaps Foundation (HWGF), previously registered as Hospitals Without Gaps Foundation (HWGF) is a nonprofit philanthropic organization stirred by faith to create or improve access to health and social services in vulnerable communities. HWG focuses on a practice of population groups that are consistent with improving, supporting, and maintaining wellbeing of communities. As an agent for health enhancing behaviors, HWG partners with health and social organizations that work toward building healthy communities. Likewise, HWG partners with government agencies in securing grant funding for improving health and social services of communities. The Foundation’s purpose is to provide free access to health and welfare services, provision of medical supplies and equipment to vulnerable health clinics; and engage in assisting children, elderly, and disabled persons with support services. We bring relief, and health benefits to the struggling communities, and those who lack necessary supports to prosper, regardless of race, culture, religion, and national origin. Our belief is not just one vulnerable community, because if more communities could be improved, societies do the same, bringing together happy and healthy communities and nations. As a participant of NGO Code of Conduct for Health Systems Strengthening, we believed that improved medical access and health sustainability should be enjoyed to every individual and community in need; and not for the determination of political, social and/or other purposes. Our main and last considerations are the health and social needs of the communities we serve. Our philosophies are simple: We create necessary health and social supports that are favorable to the nature of the individuals we serve, leaving a lasting impact. We also seek to improve the existing health and social services by partnering with similar organizations to bring about lasting impact. In all we do, we follow the uppermost specialized standards of quality, responsibility, answerability, and sustainability.
