                                                             Social Security Advocacy in Minnesota:

 

Introduction: HWG advocate can help you apply for Social Security disability benefits if you are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, and have a disability expected to last a year or more. You do not have to be on a public assistance program to receive help.

Individual must be homeless, at risk of homelessness, receiving help through a housing
subsidy program, or on one of the following DHS Programs:
Diversionary Work Program
General Assistance, including Tribal GA
Housing Supports

Refugee Cash Assistance

Tribal General Assistance

Services Provided: Initial applications or claims, reconsiderations, continue disability reviews, SOAR
