Creswell’s Alignment of Philosophical Worldview

My position of Creswell’s alignment of philosophical worldviews (Creswell, 2009) is that of the notion that one cannot be another and another cannot be one. In other words, researchers should rely on a choice of which design is most suitable to their community health assessment by clearly making sense of potential data while identifying which method to employ. For example, if a research design of accounting certain number of HIV infectants in one locality is of quantitative method, then it should involve collecting numerical data that maybe imperiled to statistical analysis and should continue with such method so as to theorize accurate results. My point is research study should be aligning specifically toward a specific form of research design.  My choice of approach is of mixed view approach because really, “integrating quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis in a single study or a program of enquiry.” – Creswell et al 2003 allow me to broaden my proposed study and the worldview ploy to systemize such philosophical belief of research.
